Why does my yard need scooped?
Uncollected dog feces is a significant contributor to ground water pollution. Uncleaned back yards stink, they annoy the neighbors and attract flies that lay their eggs on the feces and then move on.  Worms and viruses such as roundworm, ringworm, whipworm, and the deadly parvo virus are all transmitted through dog feces.  Some diseases can be spread from pet waste to Humans.  They include: campylobacteriosis, salmonellosis, & toxocarisis.

Do I have to sign a contract?
We do ask that you sign a service agreement which gives us permission to enter your yard on service days, outlines our billing rates and policies, and any prenegotiated term of service.  We do offer a discount on the first time cleaning with a one-month contract.  Following the first month, your service will continue until you notify us otherwise.  If you would prefer to not sign a one-month contract, your initial scoop will be considered a "one time cleaning".

What if it rains or snows?
We work in most weather, but lightening, snow, or very cold weather can prevent us from servicing that day.  If there is more than a half an inch of snow on the ground, we will postpone that day's ervice until the snow has melted.  If the snow is on the ground for more than a week with no new accumulation, we will do a regular clean up.

Do you disinfect your tools before using them in my yard?
For your pet’s protection, we disinfect our tools after cleaning every yard to avoid spreading disease.

Which holidays do you not work?
We are closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. When a holiday falls on your regular service day we will leave a notice on your front door the week before advising you as to when your service can be completed. It is usually within a few days of your regular service day.

Should I unlock my gate?
Yes, please leave your lock off your gate on your service day. We will lock the gate for you if you leave the lock by the gate. If you prefer we can loan out a combination lock at no additional cost to you.

What if I forget to unlock the gate on the day of service?
The service fee will be waived the first time we are unable to enter your backyard, but you will be charged a flat fee of $9 each additional time.

Do I have to be home for the service?
No, although for the first service it is best to meet with you and your pet(s). If you know your dog is not good with strangers, or the dog will not let us in the clean the yard, we will ask you to restrain or confine your dog.

Can I schedule my service for a particular day?
In order to accomodate all areas both within and outside of Peoria, we do have a scheduled route.  If you prefer a certain day, please let us know.  We will do our best to accomodate you!

What if I want to skip a service day?
You will not be charged if you call the office 24 hours prior to your scheduled pick up. If you choose to skip a weekly cleaning, you will be charged for an every other week clean up for your next visit.

How do I pay you?
The initial/one time only visit is paid at time of service.  All subsequent visits will be billed at the end of the month. We can do this through regular mail or E-mail. Payment is expected within 10 days of receipt of the invoice. Payment can be made by check, Visa, Mastercard, or through Paypal. All returned checks are subject to a $20.00 NSF fee. All invoices over 60 days past due will be turned over to a collection agency.   Additionally, if an invoice is more than thirty days past due, your service will be suspened until payment arrangements have been made.

Are there any incentives for referring a friend?
For each client you refer, you will receive one free visit after that client has completed one month of service. There is no limit to the amount of free visits you can receive. Offer does not apply to commercial property.

Do you service commercial property? Yes, we service condos, townhomes, apartment complexes, kennels, and parks.  Please call us for an estimate.
